Once again we had company for Maddies Birthday Weekend. Tonys mom, grandmother, and aunt came up for the weekend. She had a nice birthday. We had her party at the Heartland Inn Express motel breakfast room because it rained. It was the perfect size and we decided we'd use it again if need be.

May 2006

We already got a visit from Tonys parents after being in Cedar Rapids for less than a month. The Amana Colonies were a great place to visit and walk around. There were so many unique things and pretty flowers to enjoy. A good way to spend a relaxing sunny day. I like the quilt shop and the Christmas Store the best.

April 2006

Tony came back to Arkansas to get us and we got back to the apartment the weekend before Easter. The apartment was very nice but oh so small compared to where we moved from. No yard and not much room to play. We started unpacking and found we had to leave so much stuff in the garage that we didn't have room for.

March 2006

Tony went ahead to Cedar Rapids to look for a place to live and get accustomed with the area and his new job. The babies and I stayed behind and packed and finished up last minute business. We were apart for about 6 weeks.

February 2006

This month we went to Dallas for final interviewing and a briefing about Tonys new job with HC Price. We got to visit my brother and his family while we were there. It was a nice trip besides the icy roads.

January 2006

I need to do some back posting to catch you up to the now and now. At this point, we lived in Judsonia Arkansas, but Tony was interviewing for the job he has now in Cedar Rapids. Nothing more exciting was going on. Maddie is 7 months old and Jake is just a little over 2 yrs old.
