Holly Holly Holly

She was just the perfect subject on this day, so I had to take advantage of it...She is the most well-behaved dog I think I've ever seen for such a young little puppy...WE love her to pieces!

Bow Swap

Here are some of the bows Maddie got from a recent Bow Swap I participated in. I think they are SUPA cute!

Growing every day!

I swear Holly has grown WAY too fast...She is not supposed to get very big, so I'm hoping she is maybe full grown now?!?!

Caught her again

She was watching something on my computer and I called her name and snapped before she could look away again...She is hard to capture when she has her mind on something else, so you have to be QUICK!

Thankyou for my dress up shoes

Maddie loves to play dress up with all her jewels, shoes and dresses, but today we were actually getting ready to go shopping and she put her dress up shoes on and really thought she could wear them even though there was 8 inches of snow on the ground...Nope! We still had to put tights and boots and snowsuit and the whole winter "thing". on...

Christmas Breakfast Feast

We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast feast at a little German village near where we live... It looked like a fabulous banquet and everything was SooooooooooooooO delicious...Here are my two little monkeys before we bundled up for the drive over there...

Christmas Eve Gift

Our sweet puppy Holly. She is a miniature Schnauzer. We picked her up on Christmas Eve. I look forward to watching her grow and enjoying her with our family.

Christmas Recital

Jake and Maddie looked quite nice after we got all ready for Jakes Christmas recital at preschool. I just had to snap a few pictures...

chocolate of course

Hot is better on these days getting below ZERO.....We all really enjoy our hot cocoa....

Our Beautiful Tree

So we finally finished decorating our tree and we looked forward to every evening when it was time to turn it on...

Sweet Memories.....

Was cleaning my studio and prepping for a photo shoot that I had later in the day and my little helpers said I could take their photo...I think its so sweet!

S-N-O-W!!!!!!!!

We finally got a lot of it! Maddie enjoyed trying to catch the snowflakes on her tongue as Jake was begging someone to pull him in the sled.....

The Spirit of Christmas fills our lives with Joy!

We enjoy so much pulling out all the decorations and our manger scene and talking about it as we set it up. Jake and Maddie helped decorate the tree alot more than past years and they really enjoyed it. It ended up being heavily decorated near the bottom of course, but I loved it...Made me smile each time I looked at it.

Over a year behind

...but I'm going to TRY to start blogging more...I'll go back to thanksgiving and try to catch up a little...So, here we go...We got a tiny bit of snow the day after thanksgiving and this was the snowman Jake built when he got back from his "vacation".

Dance class.

Maddie likes going to dance class, but she totally does her own thing. Forget that she is the ONLY one not doing the right dance. She has rhythm, she has style...She'll have the spotlight one way or another... I will get pictures of her next "performance".

Group effort

On sunday we went to the Brucemore Historical Mansion and took pictures at different locations around. It's a pretty place but we chose a SUPER hot day to do it. We about melted!

Haircut day...

We went to Kids & Company to get Jake and Maddies hair trimmed. They always have fun there. They have cool seats to sit on and they get to watch their choice of cartoon and get a treat when they're all done. Who wouldn't like it? They put beads in maddies hair and "style" her hair. I think her bangs were just a little too short, but her hair grows fairly quick...

Craft Show

Heres pictures of my booth at the craft show in Iowa City this past weekend. It went really well and was a lot of fun.

Jakes new outfit

Heres the latest outfit I made and Jake modeling it for me. He actually cooperated this time. Most of the time he doesn't want me taking his picture. I think the snowman guy helped make it easier for him.

Ready to play outside

We've actually had a few days that are sunny and in the 40's so I took advantage of them and took the kids out. I let them play out in front of the garage on their bikes and things. They like it.
